St. Patty's Day
Slippery Rock, along with many other parts of the country, are filled with Irish shirts and green beer today! College students, and local taverns, really take advantage of the opportunity to have a reason to get drunk on a random weekday. While many find reasons to validate their drinking (passing a test, being done with a class, getting up on time), there is no better reason than a holiday that no one really understands. So, while I sit here and put down those going out tonight, I will more than likely be found at Ginger Hill drinking green beer for no other reason than it's a holiday, and we might as well celebrate!

ha i agree completely. But if you really get to thinking about it most holidays are just on random days like presidents day lol its just another random day. However i love St. patricks day because people are just out to have a good time and relax and people aren't so up tight...and i will probably also be found drinking beer at Ginger hill after i get off work!
ReplyDeleteI agree also St. Pattys Day is a fun holiday where people have just kick back and relax and forget about their problems all night just to have a good time with friennds and drink beer. Ginger Hill should be a blast tonight, can't wait to get the party started.
