352 Field
Even though 352 is over for this semester, it is unusual getting used to being able to sleep in until ten. 352 was a good learning class. It allowed the students to learn how to write a proper lesson. In a lot of my phys. ed. classes now I am writing lessons. None of these lessons are similar to 352. Actually, none of these lessons are similar to each other. While they all have the same idea of objectives, anticipatory sets, transitions, etc. The format for all of them are completely different. As a student this is somewhat confusing, but I suppose in the long run it helps us to be well-rounded educators.

I agree with you when you say it is confusing. I do not think i have written one lesson plan that was even similiar to the ones from 352. Our lesson plans from health were not even close. But i guess 352 was good in the sense that you got to get out in the field. So although the lesson plans were brutal, we do get some good experience in the field.
ReplyDeleteI plan on takeing 352 next semester and your post provides some good information on the class. I am eexcited to be in this class and begin to really feel like a teacher. It should be a good learning experience as you said especially if all the lessons are different!
